GP10, Cairns Convention Centre
6-9 October

The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the Australian Association of Practice Managers Ltd (AAPM) combined national conference, GP10, will be held at the Cairns Convention Centre 6–9 October.

This year, the two organisations have joined forces to create a conference that is relevant to the much broader general practice community and a range of allied healthcare practitioners as we look to shape the future of multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

The conference will focus on the following key themes:

We expect approximately 1000 delegates to attend the conference. The delegates
are predominantly Australian GPs, practice managers, medical educators, key
influencers in Australian general practice, and members of practice teams.
There will be a contingent of overseas delegates.

This conference aims to be family friendly with time to explore the Cairns Esplanade,
the Great Barrier Reef and the rainforest. The weather in Cairns in October is pleasantly warm with temperatures between 21 and 29 degrees so it will be a great time to enjoy quality education, meetings with colleagues both new and old, and enjoy all the tropical north has to offer.

QA&CPD points

The conference is an approved Category 2 activity. For attendance, you will receive 10 points per day, up to a total of 30 points for attending all three days. An evaluation must be completed online post GP10 to claim the category 2 points. Alternatively, you can complete accredited Category 1 activities to receive 40 points for the day.

How to claim your CPD points

All GP participants need to complete the online evaluation to provide feedback for quality improvement. Once you have completed the evaluation, you will be eligible to claim your category 2 CPD points.
