QA&CPD workshops for providers at GP10
Education providers are an integral part of learning in the general practice landscape and are continually striving to provide high quality education to Australian GPs. Aligning providers with the QA&CPD Program’s objectives ensures GPs and the practice team can access reliable high quality education across Australia.
This year at GP10, workshops for education providers include:
- Accreditation training workshop – education providers will learn about the development and delivery of GP education in line with the RACGP QA&CPD 2011–2013 standards and guidelines. This session will cover the educational underpinnings of the program, the steps involved on how to develop, deliver and follow up high quality educational activities that meet the requirements of the QA&CPD Program.
- Facilitation skills training course – this workshop will help participants prepare for, introduce and conclude a workshop, as well as learn a variety of skills and techniques to be able to manage participants, groups and styles.
- Quality improvement workshop – the QA&CPD Program is encouraging a systems approach to patient care through continuing quality improvement. This session will give providers an opportunity to understand the process of developing, implementing and evaluating quality improvement activities (PDSA and clinical audits).
